«Faithful Christians are those who, incorporated into Christ by Baptism, are integrated into the People of God and, made participants in their own way for this reason in the priestly, prophetic and royal function of Christ, each according to his own condition, are called to carry out the mission that God entrusted to the Church in the world» (CIC, can. 204, 1; cf. LG 31). (CIC 871)
"This is the one Church of Christ, of which we confess in the Creed that it is one, holy, catholic and apostolic" (LG 8). These four attributes, inseparably linked to each other (cf. DS 2888), indicate essential features of the Church and of her mission. The Church does not have them by itself; It is Christ who, through the Holy Spirit, makes the Church one, holy, catholic and apostolic, and it is also He who calls her to exercise each of these qualities" (CIC 811).
"The entire liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic Sacrifice and the sacraments (cf SC 6). There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony ( see DS 860; 1310; 1601) (CIC1113)
"The matrimonial alliance, by which the man and the woman constitute a life-long consortium, ordered by its very natural nature to the good of the spouses and to the generation and education of offspring, was elevated by Christ Our Lord to the dignity of the sacrament among the baptized" (CIC can. 1055, §1) (CIC 1601)
"Those who approach the sacrament of penance obtain from the mercy of God the forgiveness of the sins committed against Him and, at the same time, are reconciled with the Church, which they offended with their sins. She moves them to conversion with his love, his example and his prayers" (LG 11).
"The Christian who unites his own death to that of Jesus sees death as a journey towards Him and entry into eternal life. When the Church says for the last time the words of forgiveness of Christ's absolution over the dying Christian, it seals for the last time with a fortifying anointing and gives Christ in viaticum as food for the journey" (CCC 1020).
"Come, blessed of my Father" “Vengan, benditos de mi Padre" (Mt 25,31)
